Matt Hammond is a qualified recording engineer based in Auckland, NZ. Following the completion of his Bachelor's degree in Recording Engineering and Production, Matt has established himself as a specialist in capturing the unique essence of every musical project. He collaborates with diverse talents to create compelling and professionally polished recordings that resonate deeply with artists and their audiences alike.

Matt's musical journey began at age 11 when he first picked up a guitar, igniting a passion for music that has shaped his career. Since then, he has collaborated as a guitarist and bassist in bands across diverse genres, including rock and jazz.

With professional vocal training, Matt provides valuable feedback and guidance to vocalists. He is also skilled in electronic music production, offering expertise in backing instrumental accompaniment and tailored sound advice for each project.

This culmination of experience has led to the creation of Tin Dolphin Music Studio, where Matt continues to channel his passion for music into creating professional and impactful recordings.
